CEO & President of Talia Ltd to Appear on Panel at the VSAT Global Conference

Alan Afrasiab, president and CEO of Talia Ltd, will appear at the VSAT Global conference to debate which technological innovation will have the biggest impact on the satellite industry in the coming years. The debate will begin on Wednesday the 14^th of September at 5 pm.

Talia’s CEO will appear alongside other industry leaders, including Sandeep Kumar of Telstra and Randall Barney of the World Teleport Association (WTA), to discuss with an interactive audience whether low-earth orbit (LEO) satellites, cost-effective launchers, antenna innovations or terrestrial infrastructure improvements will have an impact on the satellite industry. If so, how big will that impact could be and who will benefit?

With over 20 years of experience within the satellite and telecoms industries, Alan Afrasiab will provide his insight of where the satellite industry will be heading in the coming years, where new opportunities are likely to arise and will be taking questions and comments from the audience.

The annual VSAT Global Conference is a week-long event being held in London from the 13^th to 16th of September and will be attended by over 300 delegates from all over the world to discuss, debate and share knowledge on the biggest issues facing the satellite industry.

Those attending include hundreds of VSAT end-users, many of whom are from the government, maritime, aviation, mining, telecommunication industries among others – making it a prime networking event for anyone connected directly or indirectly to the satellite industry.

The conference was first created in partnership between COMSYS and GVF (Global VSAT Forum) and is now in its 18^th year. It is the only event to solely focus on VSAT products, technologies, applications and services.
